USB Keyboard Mouse with IOGear KVM Switch?
I have an IOGear KVM switch which takes in a VGA video and PS2 Keyboard and Mouse. It worked fine when I had native PS2 connections. I also had a PS2 keyboard, but USB mouse, but it still worked with the provided USB->PS2 adaptor that came with it. However, today I bought the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 which has just ONE USB port for both the keyboard and mouse, and when I tried the USB->PS2 adaptor, it wouldn't work in either of the ports on the KVM swtich. Is there any way that I can use this desktop set with my KVM switch?
I'm sorry not....I think you may have a problem of impedence, so the keyboard just don't start (in fact, its base). Did you try any other USB keyboard ?
