I connected my tb and laptop together using VGA cable but there is waves of static on the display?
I connected them using the s-video. The laptop switched to dual-monitor mode but the tv won't display. What do I do?

you should just need to change the tv source eg cable,aux,svidio,hdmi,vga etc
