Should I be able to share the scanner of my HP PSC 950? The printer works fine.?
I'm using two computers and I am able to share the printer portion of my HP PSC 950 printer/scanner/fax/copier. I can't figure out how to share the scanner also. Is this possible?
Unless the printer supports network scanning, no you cannot share the scanner portion of the All-in-one printer. HP does have All-in-ones that have network scanning ability, although I have only seen them on higher-end business products.
You best option is to create a file share and scan you documents there so that both computers can access the scanned documents, even though you can only do the actual scanning from the one computer.
