Two Inputs On Dell 19" Monitor?
I have a 19" Dell Monitor I bought last fall, I believe the model number is 1905FP. It has both DVI-D and VGA (Sub-D) inputs, and I was wondering if I could hook up two computers to share the single monitor WITHOUT USING A KVM SWITCH! I don't want to buy a KVM switch, so if I can do it w/o one, that would be better. If this is possible, how do I switch from one input to the other?

No, you can't do that, I used to work for Dell. Part of the time I was there I was testing graphics cards for the machines. I spent a lot of time trying to break them. I used lots of different monitors lots of different ways. You can hook a monitor up to two machines but not directly. Those connectors are just so you have a choice. You need to use the switch.
